Purpose of the Project

The purpose of the Digital Fabrication project is to apply the 3D fabrication techniques learned in lectures and other sources to a real-world scenario, to gain a deeper understanding of how these techniques can be utilized in practical applications.

Parametric Design

Utilizing parametric design principles to create the bench, allowing for the generation and exploration of numerous design variations based on customizable parameters, resulting in a highly adaptive and uniquely tailored final product.

Web-Based Topologicpy Geometry Editor

Furthermore, this project seeks to address the limitations and challenges faced by users in traditional 3D modeling software. By leveraging web-based technology, the proposed 3D interactive editor provides a flexible and accessible solution that can be accessed from any device with an internet connection. The platform's user-friendly interface and simplified design processes enable users to create intricate 3D models efficiently, saving time and resources. Additionally, the editor's compatibility with various file formats ensures seamless integration with existing workflows and facilitates collaboration among team members. With the inclusion of interactive graph and analytics features in the upcoming phase, users will gain valuable insights into their designs, enabling them to make informed decisions and optimize their models.
